Sharpening Stone

1. What's the flattening stone use for?

The flattening stone is use for maintain the whetstone. After several uses, the surface of the whetstone may be uneven and which may affect the effect of sharpening the blade. So, it's nessary to use the flattening stone to maintain the sharpening stone. 

About how to use the flattening stone: you could simply soark the flattening stone and whetstone for a few minute and then use the flattening stone rug through the surface of the whetstone. 

Honing Guide

How to use the honing guide?

• Step 1. Put the blade into the honing guide and use the adjuster on the side to make the opening larger or smaller according to the tool you want to sharpen.
• Step 2. Use the measurements on the side as a guide to tell you how far the blade needs to be protruding, use a steel rule to measure against
• Step 3. place the bevel against the most coarse surface you are sharpening on and use the wheels on the bottom to role this across the surface back and forth.
